Invest in new seats . . . PLEASE ! ! !

July 13, 2013

I know you guys are the only theatre in town, but it's getting harder and harder to justify spending good money to sit for 2+ hours on very uncomfortable seats.

July 15, 2013

My wife will no longer come with me to see a film at the Rialto because the seats are so poor.

Could do so much better

February 11, 2015

You have failed to notice that many of your clients prefer films that are character driven and appeal to persons over the age of 16. The Comox Valley is home to many persons with intelligence, a decent income, and to whom live cinema is preferable to images on the home screen. We also like good coffee and decent snacks. Also, we prefer a clean cinema (including the screen), with comfortable seats and a working sound system. Remember us when you book your screens.

Time for new seats!

February 19, 2015

The seats are horrible. I spoke to the general manager he told me to speak with the owner!! You charge enough for movies and concessions that new foam for seats can easily be afforded. You've made a lot of money of the backs of the Comox Valley patrons. How about a rewarding experience of comfortable and clean modern seats??

Can't see what's playing

July 17, 2017

Don't even bother to put the listings on the Marquee anymore. Can't even see what's playing! Ticket booth is no longer open, have to wait in line of candy buyers to purchase tickets. It seems like a theatre that's ready to close....Spend some money and people will come.

THEATRE WITH BROKEN SEATS, Waste of money

June 19, 2017

Went in theatre, nothing changed, seems rundown. Uncomfortable seats. One we were in had broken covered seats, armrest on one seat we sat at was broken off and broken end taped with black tape. Floor was sticky and slippery in theatre. I am embarrassed to take out of town people to this theatre. Please either upgrade/remodel or knock it down. If we had a modern, decent theatre i would go more often rather than go out of town.

It is so obvious that you don't care about the clientele because you are the only show in town. I don't even know where to start with the amount of maintenance that needs to be done! And then there are the poor kids who work the concession and try their hardest. You know one night there were so many people in line-up and not enough staff that they kept running out of popcorn. No-one managing these poor kids. And here we go again next week it looks like there are three theatres taking up space for one movie! What do the rest of us do?

Two times in a row have been disappointed due to Technical problems

March 24, 2016

The sound was terrible when I went to see Star Wars recently, and today went to see the new Batman Vs. Superman and the 3D was broken. Neither time were any of the teenagers working there able to fix the issue. Nor did they issue refunds. It's the only theatre in town but I'll consider driving to Nanaimo in the future.
