Good but not the best...

Only 2 staff at Guest Services. 22 min wait for tickets to be told I could have chose to get them at the concession...the concession line was 15 min...more staff is probably an idea management needs to think about. Recliner seats are nice but they don't make up for poor staffing.

k i work at the theatre

Hello, so I have been working at the theatre for the past year and before that I was a regular customer but I just wanted to write a review for customers to understand the procedures that can't be changed as a regular employee. I fully understand that this theatre isn't the greatest because of how some of the employees do not how to fulfill their responsibilities anf they aren't so twctical, I'm obviously not perfect but I can say that I am a very good employee. MOST coupons REQUIRE an extra charge for 3D and IMAX experiences (3D is an extra $3 per admission IMAX is an extra $7 per admission) regardless if you're a child or senior. Kid packs are usually not served with butter because it's a cardboard box so therefore butter may leak through. Small popcorns are supposed to have 3 pumps of butter, regular 4 and large 5. Most staff are usually generous and will put more butter without an extra charge, some may not simply because they are doing their job correctly. Floor staff is usually short so cleaning isn't done well which is understandable. Night cleaners (janitors) are responsible for refilling soap for the soap dispensers, not the employees. Yes, the theatre CAN have rude employees, but that doesn't mean anyone should generalize all of the theatre's employees as rude employees. Please understand that as "chill" of a job that being a theatre employee seems to be, it isn't. We deal with rude customers, some of us have more than 1 job, and we have bad days too. We're all genuinely sorry that those factors affect your customer service but please have patience with us. If any other problems still occur feel free to talk to a manager about your issues so that we could better our service.

Subpar to Cineplex but same costs

This theatre can be a gong show at times despite being large. Find the concession food/combos subpar to Cinepelx, as well as general set-up. Glad there is competition though, but who wants Pepsi over Coke? LOL There needs to be 1-2 more movie theatres in NW Calgary

Absolutely Filthy

We went to this theatre yesterday, when we walked in there was twp people in the loungers one passed out the other had track marks and bleeding arms, keep in mind we went to a childs movie how did management let this people stay, the floor at the concession was covered in popcorn and upon entering the theatre there was popcorn leading all the way to our seats, the recliners dont recline all the way there was ice cream in the cup holder and garbage in between the seats seems like everytime we go it gets dirtier very disappointed

The young adults need to be trained more

Bought tickets for a the afternoon show I told the fellow Liam that we wanted to go to the 3:40 movie. For some reason he couldn't get the balance from my card. I don't think he knew how to do it. Anyway we picked our seats the two of us and we both got drinks and popcorn. When we went to give them our tickets he does us this is for the 10:00 pm movie there was no 3:40 movie the iPad was wrong on the postings..we were upset why didn't Liam tell us there was no 3:40 showing. We had to call over the manager to put a $30.00 card for movies I was buying for a gift he didn't seem to know what he was doing ...they called the manager Jeff to settle it. We were not going to line up again for change of tickets he changed it for us and we went and saw Loving .....there seems to be problems lately it's either charging me more money for what I all ready paid for or should be included .... This is my favorite place to go to the movies and I love going we might have to change it if it keeps getting messed up and to to Cineplex. This happens too often ....

WORST 3D MOVIE EVER

just watched the movie wolverine and have nothing good to say about my experience. There was not one part in the whole movie that was 3D. Cant believe that you would even charge people for the crap I just watched. The least you guys can do is atleast preview the movies and see it for your self. Been to a lot of 3D movies and this by far was the worst.

Worst Theatre Ever

The seats need to be replaced they are too low to the floor and the foam pading is worn out. The soda was half flat and the popcorn was lacking in flavor.

Doors are locked after opening

What good is your hours of operation on your website at 10 am open. Yours doors a locked and I even showed up at 11. Plus you never answer your phone aswell. It's time you wakeup.

Pathetic clean up

Was in to watch Central Intelligence for the first matinee show with my family today and when we came out EVERY trash can was not only full but had piles of empty popcorn bags and cups on top and around the base of it! When I managed a theater if I saw that not only would my doormen have been fired but the manager on duty would have been looking for a new career as well! Pathetic! And reno's are no excuse!

2 line ups to get a drink...? REALLY?

First you get to stand in line to buy your drink... then you get to stand in another line to fill it up at one of those crappy Coca-Cola Freestyle machines. Then your drink tastes like the one the person before you had. Their website says Freestyle is ONLY available at Landmark Cinemas.... do you want to know why? Because Cineplex is not stupid enough to install these machines.. they cause you to wait longer for a subpar product thzt you are being overcharged for.
