This movie was really good if you like Vampire Kind of movies...such as Blade, Underworld...etc. i think everyone acted really good and the story line was good too. Visual effects obviously good too! Go see it!!

It wasn`t any where near as good as I had expected. Needed to be darker, more thrilling, and less cheesey. Not worth going to the threaters to watch this one, but would be suitable for a last minute rental.

i thought this movie was great! it had some really good effects...and i liked all the monsters. Hugh Jackman didnt hurt matters either!!

I thought that this was an awesome movie! It was definitally worth seeing. There is a lot of action and the special affects and costumes and stuff were amazing. I also liked the story-line. I would go see it again for sure.

I loved it! From beginning to end it kept me going...Usually I am ready to fall asleep when there are slower parts in a movie, but there was no slow parts to this movie....An excellent job by all the actors....Hugh Jackman and Richard Roxburgh were sexy and awesome!

Definitely one of my favourite movies! Everything was so good: the story, the acting, the script, the special effects! from beginning to end I was hooked. I learned to never trust the critics! Because this is truly an awesome movie I`m looking forward to buy on DVD!

I thought Van Helsing was the BOMB!! The first time i watched it....i new it was too good to be true. I liked the special effects...they were awsome. Dracula`s three brides were THE BEST!

I think Van Helsing was great! this movie made my summer and summer hasn`t even started yet for us kids! I loved Dracula, he was so great and cute!

This movie was made for kids it should be rate G. The films should be more serious. Just take a look at Arnold`s movies Predator, Total Recall. There is a simple formula to movies blood, violence, nudity (some not a lot), course language, and make it serious. That`s all it takes for a good movie. (Gladiator, Matrix, Man on Fire)

Non-stop action. Hugh is sexy as ever and Dracula is the most amazing, chilling, sexy and humorous - he steals the show!!

terrible. it ripped off "the hunchback of N.D., Get smart, James Bond,Young Frankenstein, The Wizard of OZ, had terrible dialogue terrible plot, terrible accents, it is just plain TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Van Helsing was a very good movie in ways and very corny in others. I started liking the movie about halfway through because that was when all the action comes in. You have to admit it was pretty cheesey at the ending but the grafics were amazing. It was good because it kept the guys entertained with action and four extremely hott and big breasted women and then for the ladies there was Hugh Jackman and the lack of clothing on his body. Realisticly he was the only good actor and the rest of them had very corny accents. In my opinion it was quite creative but a bit media based, it could have been better. I think the visual affects actually sucked quite badly... The first few shots of castle Frankenstine looked like something I can render on my computer in 30 mins... My friend thought that was part of the commercial. The movie gets quite cheesy with the vampire wifes (who fly around laughing like idiolts). Anyway, the movie is not without merit... it does have some actions, but I can only recommend it as a cheap Tuesday movie or a rental.

I THOUGHT THIS MOVIE HAD POTENTIAL! I WAS FOOLED! It did have great special effects, though. That`s the only thing I liked about it. The plot was brain-dead and the acting was definitely not the best. I would not recommend this movie to everybody. If you like special effects and are curious about it, then go see it. Otherwise, save your money and go see some other flick. Thanks for reading.

I found the film very exciting...i thought the effects were brill and the mix of all the different monsters was cool...and larst but not least the lead actris and Dracula`s wifes were fit!!...it reminded me of a james bond sort of film...but if anything much better!

Wow, does it strike anyone else as ironic that the people who loved this movie the most are also the ones who can`t spell? This movie is pure commercial entertainment, don`t expect anything deep and you`ll have some fun. It`s better to rent it than to pay full price for it though....

I won`t say it`s really good or really bad. I`m not a loser critic who thinks that just because I dont like something, im going to cut it down, because EVERYONE has different tastes! Me for one, LOVED Van Helsing! But i like fantasy/action movies....thats just my taste! You might have a different taste, so if you didnt like Van Helsing, dont tell people it sucks, tell them what its about and LET THEM JUDGE FOR THEMSELVES!!!

Too many monsters, and too little plot. It was fun to watch, but it lacked the dark nature one would expect from such a story. All in all... it was good effects, but little substance for the mind.

Van Helsing is AWESOME!!! If you liked Underworld and/or X-men you will love this movie. Great effects without going overboard. Hugh Jackman was great.

This was pure action fluff, which is wonderful if that`s what you`re in the mood for. The cinematography is gorgeous, but the film places too much emphasis on the special effects. Watching the vampires open their mouths wide to reveal their growing fangs was down-right silly. But all in all, a fun way to spend an evening.

This is the most action packed adventure with amazing special effects since Lord Of The Rings!!! It has all the classic monsters: Dracula, Werewolf, Frankenstien, and Jekel/Hyde. If you like these types of movies, you will love this! It is way better then Underworld (and that is saying a lot because I love Underworld)! A must see!

I think that this is a great movie,it does not matter what way you look at it hugh jackman is just asome. He has to be the finest man alive. This is an execellent movie very well thought out and plotted. For those of you who did not see the plot you must be blind.It has everything needed in an action movie it has action,romance and comopasion,what else do you want?

I thought the movie was very enteraining and action packed. The effects were very lifelike. Even the scenes that you would roll your eyes up at i thought where great. Hey, if Spiderman can swing from a web, why cant Frankinstien from a piece of rope? People who poorly rate the movie are forgetting that its for pure enterainment. I feel this movie is a tribute to all your comic action heros and villians(new and old), and old horror flicks (Hammer flims for one) all rapped up in one package. Great movie.

We hit this flick not knowing what to expect - I am not one for monters and things like that - but I thought the movie was entertaining and kept my interest. 7 out of 10. Cool effects!
