Spanish director Nacho Perez debuts with this flick about a group of 30-somethings wrestling with love and lost youth. The title character, Marta (Marta Belaustegui), is a mousy 31-year-old who is attracted to Julio (Tristan Ulloa), though he's involved with Elisa (Lola Duenas).
Marta goes over to his apartment to help decorate, only to find herself surrounded by a bevy of his neurotic friends. Present company includes Nestor (Roberto Enriquez), who's gay, Alicia (Maria Jose Millan), who is an anorexic wreck, and Jimena (Nieve de Medina), who is currently sleeping with Julio.
Soon the ragtag band of Spanish Gen-Xers are arguing and about life, marriage, and babies.
