Agathe Villanueva, renowned feminist writer, returns to the South of France to participate in a conference that will mark the beginnings of her political career. Accompanied by her boyfriend Antoine, Agathe returns to her childhood home where her younger sister Florence lives with her children and husband.
While Agathe is there, a filmmaker proposes to make a documentary featuring her rise as an up-and-coming politician, with the assistance of Karim, a young hotel concierge, but their lack of organization, as well as the resentment that Karim feels towards Agathe, hinder the project.
