All I can say is WOW !!!

User review rating: 5 December 30, 2010

This movie was excellent! Contrary to some reviewers, I didn't find it depressing at all. This was an energized, focused, psychological movie. There was intensity which was offset by very brief moments of humour. Well paced. Well choreographed and filmed. Very convincing performances. Be prepared to better understand how ballet performers embrace and truly embody their art.

I LOVE Natalie Portman as an actress! She is phenomenal!! Really got me into the movie, even though I'm not into ballet and I was blown away!!

User review rating: 4 December 29, 2010

If you like movies that you need to discuss afterwards to get the meaning, this is it. Like a Fellini movie it bounces all over between real and fantasy, leaving you wondering which is which. Not for all, but actiing and dancing are superb.

Awesome acting by all actors and so suspenseful. I will purchase this movie after it becomes available to buy.

User review rating: 4 December 29, 2010

well acted,dark and depressing content

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

What a performance by Natalie Portman. Such an intensive movie.

User review rating: 4 December 29, 2010

Jeff Brigdges is an original. Does not try to recreate John Wayne's version. Does his own thing; Damon is terrific. Great cast and movie.

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

Awesome! Thats all I need to say.

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

Intense. Great.

User review rating: 4 December 29, 2010

Confusing! But Brilliant!

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

Prtman better get an oscar....

User review rating: 1 December 29, 2010

This is, plain and simple, a dreadful movie. The characters are all two dimensional stereotypes, the script abysmal, the camera work nauseating (literally)and the acting trite. Save your money! See the King's Speech instead!

User review rating: 1 December 29, 2010

Totally absurd: One must be a sexual deviant in order to be sensual? LOL. Disappointing script.

User review rating: 2 December 29, 2010

Very disappointing after all the hype.

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

A WOW movie. Stunning movie. Natalie Portman deserves The Oscar.

User review rating: 5 December 29, 2010

Finally, it's the winter break! This doesn't only mean that your family is coming over to your house to spend Christmas, it also means that many of the films are coming out in an attempt to receive an Academy Award, or at least a nomination! I am certain that at the 2011 Academy Awards, Black Swan will be scoring big! Yes, perhaps it isn't the best film out this December, but it is the type that the movie critics die for. Now, you may be asking yourself, what Oscars would this movie be up for? In my opinion, I could see Black Swan getting nominated for Best Director, Best Screenplay, maybe even Best Picture, but I would be shocked if Natalie Portman got snubbed for Best Actress in a Le

Well acted movie but it is really weird! As it goes on it gets stranger and stranger.

User review rating: 4 December 28, 2010

Really well done. Well acted. Very intense, and not meant for those with weak stomachs.

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Not only did this movie come highly recommended, it surpassed my wildest expectations. It is a great welcome to see former 90's Box office stars Barabara Hershey and Winona Ryder chew up the scenery so deliciously. Natalie Portman owns the movie and delivers such a grand performance she is more than certain to take home the Oscar.

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Really intense scenes and beautiful dancing.

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Best Film of 2010,Aronofsky & Portman at their best! A great Drama/Horror/Art House mix that shows us what can happen when people are pushed over the edge of madness. The acting is amazing the entire cast is spot on. The score by Mansell is overwhelming. Great Movie, LOVED IT!!!

Jeff Brigdges is an original. Does not try to recreate John Wayne's version. Does his own thing; Damon is terrific. Great cast and movie.

Creepy but memorable in the sense that it'll stay with you long after you've left the theatre. Natalie Portman is outstanding in an excellent cast.

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Dark, suspenseful and fascinating. You won't soon forget this great movie.

User review rating: 4 December 28, 2010

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Haunting. Stays with you after the credits roll.

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

This Is my fave movie of the year. An Oscar contender for directing and Portman would come as no suprise!

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

Stunning, beautiful, Natalie Portman has such grace, and pulled off the ballet like a pro. VERY enjoyable

User review rating: 5 December 28, 2010

brilliant, disturbing, creepiest movie I have ever seen,

User review rating: 0 December 27, 2010

Totally ridiculous! A women that emotionally crippled would never have risen from the corps to the prima ballerina. Natalia Portman's performance was outstanding!

User review rating: 4 December 27, 2010

a film for film people! lots going on under the surface, and natalie does a bang up job!

User review rating: 2 December 27, 2010

One word......odd! Not sure what to think of it.

User review rating: 4 December 27, 2010

A journey both enthralling and disturbing, Black Swan is a fabulously portrayed story of a girl whose dedicated her life to her passion. Its twists are fascinating and subtle, drawing the viewer in until the surprising end. Excellent!

Good watching

User review rating: 5 December 27, 2010

Nathalie Portman's come of age as an actor -- amazing performance.

User review rating: 5 December 27, 2010

Great movie and gret acting. Should be seen.Nothing creepy. It is the hidden from the public dance world full of passion, work to the bone and very dramatic personal life. The greatest thing in the movie is: the STAR was born. This is N.Porthman.

User review rating: 5 December 27, 2010
