Can you say Charlie? In that 1968 film, Cliff Robertson plays a retarded man who suddenly becomes extremely intelligent after undergoing experimental surgery before slipping back into his former state. This time out it's Elisabeth Shue who plays a mentally challenged woman who suddenly becomes MENSA material after undergoing some experimental treatments.
Her carefree brother, Aaron Eckhart, must learn to cope with the sister he never knew.
