American Fiction – Monk (Jeffrey Wright) is a frustrated novelist who’s fed up with the establishment profiting from “Black” entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes. All of Us Strangers – Screenwriter Adam (Andrew Scott) meets his neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), who is the only other occupant of an apartment in the otherwise empty London building. Harry, who's also gay, seems to want a relationship, but Adam is reluctant. Preoccupied with memories of the past, Adam is drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died 30 years earlier. Playing in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Click here for showtimes.
