Superman's death has signalled to evil forces out in the stars that Earth is ripe for the picking. In a distant future, Batman (Ben Affleck) bears witness to a world conquered by the villainous Steppenwolf in service to evil Darkseid. To prevent this dark future, Batman looks to assemble an alliance of warriors including the Amazonian Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Atlantean Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the newly formed Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and the fleet-footed Flash (Ezra Miller). Even with this team assembled it may not be enough to stop the coming attack, leading to some desperate measures in this global and time-spanning adventure to bring in a new age of heroes.
