China has diagnosed "Internet Addiction" as a clinical disorder that has grown into one of the country's most feared public health hazards. This film takes a look at the controversial boot-camp like treatment used in Chinese Rehab Centres to treat web junkies.

Filmmakers Shosh Shlam and Hilla Medalia were given access to staff and patients by Professor Tao Ran, director of the world’s first rehab facility for "Internet Addicts" at Daxan Camp at Beijing Military Hospital. Parents voluntarily send their children to the treatment center and relinquish personal involvement.

Children between the ages of 13 and 18 are admitted to the program, where they undergo military-inspired physical training complete with monitored sleep and food standards. Military guards patrol the children’s quarters, which are surrounded by gates and fences. There is no one-on-one therapy, although the children attend group therapy sessions twice a week. Treatment is very expensive, but to parents it's worth it to steer their child away from the addiction so they can develop real life communication skills.
