When Evan Morrow (Brandon Noon) is cut from the Mighty Ducks hockey team, his mother Alex (Lauren Graham) decides to create a team in order to give her son, and others like him, the opportunity to play hockey. Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) joins them as their coach, as he helps give Evan and his friends the opportunity to grow and play the sport they love.
