In this prequel to The Sopranos, a young Tony Soprano (Michael Gandolfini) is a normal, if not brat of a high school kid, who also possesses a high IQ and leadership qualities. When he begins to get closer to his uncle Richard “Dick” (Alessandro Nivola), Tony is initiated into a life of crime, fuelled by the turbulence in 1960s New Jersey. With his uncle and other powerful players involved, Tony becomes one to watch as his role in the crime syndicate grabs the attention of his family members.
