The second trailer for The Legend of Tarzan opens as the camera swoops across misty treetops and then descends into a jungle during a thunderous storm. A man's voiceover begins and we learn he has recently buried his deceased wife and is struggling to provide for their newborn child. In an intense showdown with a band of gorillas, it's hinted that the man is killed. However, his baby, tucked away in a treehouse, is embraced by the gorillas. As we discover, this baby is Tarzan, and as the trailer unfolds, the adult version of Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) swings into the picture. The scantily clad, ripped King of the Jungle now takes center stage. Impressive action sequences, marvelous CG effects and beautiful cinematography keep this trailer pulsating, which also gives us a glimpse at Tarzan's beloved wife Jane (Margot Robbie) and the evil, manipulative Captain Rom (Christoph Waltz).
