In the first official trailer for the movie The Greatest Showman we are introduced to P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman) as he is being let go from his office job. When he arrives home, he tells his wife (Michelle Williams), "This is not the life I promised you." After telling his daughters he's come up with an idea, Barnum begins to bring together a number of special people and performers. From there, we see plenty of circus acts and dance scenes. At the end of the trailer we see Phillip (Zac Efron) telling Barnum, "I can't just run off and join the circus," and Barnum responds "Why not? You clearly have a flair for show business." When Phillip says he's never heard of show business, Barnum explains, "Because I just invented it."
