In the official trailer for The Beguiled we see a group of young women from a boarding school praying for their safety through the night. We then see one of the girls come upon an injured union soldier, John McBurney (Colin Farrell). School headmistress Ms. Martha Farnsworth (Nicole Kidman) decides to take the man in and nurse him back to health, then send him on his way. But when he captures the affections of multiple girls in the house, creating an unwelcomed stir, they seek to enact revenge on what they now deem “the enemy.” John must fight to escape the hands of the women who took him in to safety.
