The trailer for The Assent begins with Joel (Robert Kazinsky) telling his son Mason (Caden Dragomer) who stares blankly into a closet, that there is nothing to fear. At the flash of an old-fashioned camera, disturbing images appear, proving Joel wrong. Mason’s babysitter calls on a priest to find the evil that has taken over Joel’s home. When its revealed that only an exorcism can save this family, a series of demonic events transpire.
