Wedding caterer Gaby (Chelsea Peretti) was just dumped by her boyfriend on her 39th birthday. While she wants to focus on her career, she decides to get back out in the dating game anyway. After striking out again and again, including hitting on a married chiropractor, Gaby is given the chance to refocus her priorities on her family. She spends more time with her niece, teaching her how to knit and even adopts a rescue dog named Trudy. This newfound love gives Gaby a new motivation and she decides to open her own restaurant.
