In the official international trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming, we see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), a.k.a. Iron Man, introduce Peter Parker as Spider-Man to the Avengers. Then flash to Peter and Tony Stark sitting in a car, where Peter is asking if he can keep the suit created for him to enhance his abilities as Tony imparts some confusing advice on the novice superhero. We then see Spider-Man taking on a group of thugs as Tony reminds him he is not yet an Avenger. We're introduced to the villainous Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. The Vulture (Michael Keaton), who begins to wage war on the city. Tony tells Peter not to worry so much about Adrian, because there are certain people tasked to handle it. But Peter, tired of being treated like a child, sees it as an opportunity to prove himself and what he’s capable of as a superhero. In battling The Vulture, Peter sees the true cost of his decision and that it will require him to risk his own life in addition to the lives of those closest to him.
