In the second trailer for Pet Sematary, after the Creeds’ pet cat dies, Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) is told of the nearby pet cemetary (that has a misspelled sign) by his kindly old neighbor Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), and so he subsequently buries their cat there. When the cat miraculously comes back to life, Louis’ daughter Ellie (Jeté Laurence) is tragically run over by a truck. Distraught at his daughter’s death and seeing what the Pet Sematary did for their cat, Louis decides to do the same for Ellie, but things are not quite right when she comes back to life.
