In the official trailer for Operation Avalanche, we see a clip of John F. Kennedy delivering a speech in 1967 regarding the efforts to land a man on the moon during the Cold War. We then see two people break into the office of NASA official James E. Webb, and discover that NASA cannot land a man on the moon, and safely return him, within the time frame that was originally promised. The two men, Matt Johnson and Owen Williams, decide to make a film that “shows a man going to the moon without actually doing it.” The clip ends with a man digging a hole in the middle of a large, empty field.
