In the trailer for Mom and Dad, Brent Ryan (Nicolas Cage) and his wife Kendall (Selma Blair) are having breakfast at home with their teenage daughter Carly says that she wants to go for a movie with her friend instead of having dinner with the grandparents. Brent then advises his young son to never have kids. Later in the day, multiple reports start coming in of parents murdering their children. Parents start attacking the schools looking to hurt their kids. Seeing these reports on the news, Carly takes her younger brother and tries to escape from their house, but their mom and dad come home and start attacking them.
