After the triumph of East High School's first show, High School Musical: The Musical, Miss Jenn (Kate Reinders) looks to organize a second show for the spring musical. After running into Zack Roy (Derek Hough), an old friend from North High, Miss Jenn decides to also compete in the Alan Menken Awards for high school musical theater, which surprises the students, as this time they will be performing Beauty and the Beast.
