In the official trailer for Gun Runners, we see a group of Kenyan men prepare their guns and then fire off shots. They chase unsuspecting villagers from their homes, and the voice of a man is heard saying, "When you have a gun, you have power. You feel like nobody can kill you."

As the trailer continues, the camera focuses on one gun-wielding man as he runs. But images of him running in a competition are interspersed as well, and soon enough the tone changes. The words, "Kenyan warriors have one chance: to exchange their guns for amnesty and a pair of running shoes" appear on the screen, and the story becomes one of hope, inspiration and endurance.
