The official trailer for Fight for Space begins with footage of Earth from the moon landing as we hear famed astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson discuss the large lapse in time from the last real space mission, which inspired a generation to become scientists and engineers. We then see commentary from former NASA astronauts and science communicators who talk about the sad state of the current NASA space program. They further mention how if this trend of underfunding and a lack of enthusiasm from the public and those in power continue, humans won’t be going anywhere outside of low orbit anytime soon.
