Jane (Sally Hawkins) returns home for Christmas and informs her family she's brought her own presents this year. She tells them all they have to do is provide the money. She then opens her presents with glee, exclaiming over each one. When she goes to a psychiatrist, he tells her he's changing her dose of medication. Afterwards, she bumps into Mike (David Thewlis) and despite insisting she doesn't remember him, he's thrilled to see her and wants to take her out.
