The Age of Adaline is an interesting take on a supernatural premise that has been explored before in such films as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Highlander and even to some extent in vampire flicks: How to reconcile immortality/growing old and personal relationships. Both Lively and Ford offer solid performances that, once immersed in the film, make the unlikely story credible as well as touching.

I kept wishing this was a book that I could read.

It is a very captivating and memorable movie. Lots of romance and passion that incites our senses, and provoke dreams and meditation on how fragile life is, what would be like if we were immortal.

I love the way Adaline was able to adapt, hide and change her style with each passing decades until she fell in love and couldn't hide her secret anymore. I thought it was Harrison For's best performance for a long time. The ending was very emotional for me...

A romantic drama

Great cinematography, and good performances from Ellen Burstyn and Harrison Ford. Is Blake Lively’s performance hampered by the script or what she brings to the screen? The new television show Forever delivers more to the concept of immortality than this film did.

Overall a good movie, some funny parts. A good sappy date movie, saw some people in the theatre in tears. Somewhat predictable storyline

This movie could have turned out to be sappy and unbelievable. However, Blake Lively's character was sympathetic and real. She made you cared for her and what happened to her character. Solid 4 Star rating.

Good but extremely predictable, you know the whole story from the beginning. My wife loved it, it's a good "chick flick." She is stunning.

I really enjoyed the movie! Blake Lively plays Adaline Bowman who is forever trapped at 29 years of Age because of an accident, and is unable to enjoy her life, because she has to keep this a secret and keep changing her identity and location. Adaline longs to open up and get close to someone, and gets her chance finally with a handsome philanthropist, named Ellis Jones played by Michiel Huisman. This love that he has for her, starts up a chain of events that magically bring an opportunity for Adaline to finally be free to let go and feel the safety and love that she wants and needs. My Daughter and I loved this movie. Thank you so much for letting us meet Michiel Huisman afterwards as

After miraculously remaining 29 years old for almost eight decades, Adaline Bowman (Blake Lively) lives a solitary existence, never allowing herself to get close to anyone who might reveal her secret. A chance encounter with philanthropist Ellis Jones(Michiel Huisman) allows her to reconsider her passion for life and romance. When a weekend with his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) threatens to uncover her real identity, Adaline makes a decision that changes her life forever. Lively looks amazing in every era’s fashion as it passes, and she does a wonderful job of conveying Adaline’s old-world diction and reserve. The story opens up a thousand questions about what a life that spans

I could be a biased reviewer but I really enjoyed the movie because I like these types of romantic movies with a little magical element. I also really like Blake Lively but I can't get over the fact that I know she is with Ryan Reynolds. I liked the way she played the character though.

I enjoyed the movie but it was definitely a "Chick Flick"!!! I like "Chick Flicks" but I took my husband and it really wasn't his kind of movie.

The Age of Adeline is a compelling story about the life of a young woman who, due to a combination of circumstances, is trapped at the age of 29 and endures decades of turmoil as everyone around her ages. It is a fascinating concept especially in this day and age as youthfulness is celebrated and aging is discouraged. Blake Lively is an excellent lead actress who convincingly portrays the character of Adeline.

The narration could have been taken down a notch as we could see what was going on, but other than the awkward situation of having dated a man and his father, it was a good movie.

This was a nice romatice building type of movie. You really got to see the emotional ride that falling in love can have. The over all flow of the movie was a slow burn that made you laugh and cry and then in he end just feel good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. The voice over was interesting, and the 'love triangle' between father/son/Adaline was a unique twist. I have recommended this movie to my friends. Steve
