It was the most hard hitting ass kicking movie i`ve ever seen i loved it!!

User review rating: 0 February 12, 2005

Easily the BEST fighting movie since Enter the Dragon. I`ve never seen a movie where the audience went so nuts during fight scenes. Every kick, every elbow showing full contact was jaw dropping. It`s only February and BEST action movie of the entire year has already come out.

This movie was one of the BEST MOVIES i`ve seen for a while now. If your looking for a movie with the best action, go and see this one. Whoever says that it`s not good is just trying to be stupid....

I did like the movie especially the martial arts. However there were many parts that I found annoying. No offence but they seriously shouldn`t have made it with subtitles. Maybe they could have toned down speech and increased the amount of fighting. I thought the bar fight with the Aussie guy was great. There was some guy next to me that was scoffing at the awesome martial arts that Tony Jaa can do. He just didn`t seem impressed but I also think that he really didn`t appreciate martial arts as an art and the amount of respect you really have to give to people who put their lives into it. It`s really fancy but you really need to give respect t

I really enjoy this movie. It was one of the best movie in Thailand couple years ago. I`m so glad it comes out internationally.

ong bak was not disappointing. it was pure fun and full of great stunts.. the action is incredible.. Tony Jaa DELIVERS!!! a must see for all martial art movie fans

Chop Sake becomes Bok Choi in this hilarious Thai rendition of a modern Sonny Cheba style martial arts flic. The flop plot combined with popsicle stick acting was the commercial filler between Jaa`s incredible acrobatic and muay thai demonstrations. This February blahs theatrical release will run by fast but if you want to get a handle on the schlock that inspired the likes of Tarantino check it out or wait for the DVD release next week. I can`t wait for the sequel..."Bong Bak" where Jaa sets out to recover the villages stolen ceremonial bong. Enjoy....

one of the finest martial arts movie in recent memory...great stunts, great fight sequences...tony jaa is a credible future action star following foot steps of bruce lee, jackie chan, and jet li

if you like cool stunts go see this movie, if you don`t like a weak story line or subtitles you might want to consider seeing somthign else but not a bad overall movie.

Best martial arts movie ever

So far, the best movie out this year. so much awesome stunts its hard to believe that theres no strings or cgi. The story was very passionate and engaging. there some funny scenes (not as much as chan movies but theyre still great). Unless your a nazi critict that dont know fun or if youre just too stupid to read subtitles, i honestly cant see how anyone can hate this movie. Ive seen this movie a year ago but it was so much better on the big screen. Jaa breakthrough performance is amazing, watch out for him.

to see this move is not to watch it for the story but for the fight scenes. thats all this movie is about. this shows the true essence of kick boxing. crazy ass fighting.

A cinematic triumph, a new true masterpeice of the art. One of the finest films since Van Dames Bloodsport!

User review rating: 0 February 11, 2005

Numerous unbelievable stunts Tony Jaa pulled off in the movie! With Jackie Chan past his prime (looong ago) and Jet Li constantly relying on strings, Tony Jaa certainly opened my eyes. I will certainly look forward to Ong Bak II (if there`s one).

This movie was awesome, one of the best action movies I ever seen. I read some of the comments below and one of them said "Ong Bak is a huge dissapointment".... uhh.. dude, did you like, have your eyes closed for the movie or you just blind? I don`t see anything wrong with this movie, Tony Jaa did a great job, No wire works, No Stuntmans, what? it`s low budget? well asian low budget movies are usually very good, in Hollywood they abuse their budget because they`re so rich, they put all these cheesy computer graphics to make it look like they can fight... but this is all real, I saw the making of it, and Tony Jaa actually hit some of the peopl

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE BEST ACTION SCENES AND STUNTS, YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS MOVIE. I TELL YOU, HE IS GOING TO MAKE IT BIG TIME IN HOLLYWOOD! HE WILL SURPASS JACKIE CHAN AND JET LI! 2 THUMBS UP, 5 STARS! TONY JAA IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE!

User review rating: 0 February 11, 2005

it was a verey good movie

User review rating: 0 February 11, 2005

I am not a big fan of these crazy asian martial arts films, but Tony Jaa just kicks so much but. Mind blowing stunts and, deadly knees and elbows to the face make this movie a must see for everyone, remember its not going to win any award for acting, but damn is the action good.

One of the best martial arts action of all time. However, lame story, and lame acting.
