A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ (Jane Widdop) life is less than wonderful, but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that without her, things could be much, much worse. Now the killer is back, and she must team up with the town misfit to identify the killer and get back to her own reality. The origins of the story come from the set of the 2020 release "Freaky". The script wants to convert traditional Hollywood narratives and themes into afun and fresh modern horror film. The film is set in Vancouver British Columbia because it offers the right mix of a mild climate with snowy peaks nearby and they all fell for the idealistic suburban locations and settings that matched Angel Falls perfectly. The iconic Angel costume is created from scratch. Being from a small town that takes Christmas a little too seriously, holiday movies are a staple of our childhood. As a blossoming horror fanatic, you gravitate towards the off-beat ones, like "Scrooged" and "The Night Before Christmas". These films, even with their clever macabre twists, still brought a ton of heart. "It's A Wonderful Knife" follows in that same tradition, dark and uplifting at the same time, for those who gather around the tree and pop in a copy of "Scream" or Black Christmas". It’s a scary roller-coaster ride that welcomes audiences of all backgrounds into a warped snow globe of a world, and we’re pumped to share it with everyone in time for the holidays! The movie is billed as a comedy/horror and does live up to that. There are jump scares and funny parts as well., There were references to gay and lesbian and kissing between two males so for the homophobic would not rate this well. The movie in my opinion is worth watching.
