Golden Globe 2019 nominations complete list

A Star is BornAwards season has officially kicked off with the announcement of the 76th annual Golden Globe nominations, celebrating the best in movies and TV.

The highly buzzed-about film A Star is Born earned a Best Picture nod, as well as Best Actress nod for Lady Gaga. Bradley Cooper has earned nominations in the Best Actor and Best Director categories. The song "Shallow" has also been nominated for Best Original Song.

Vice, a biopic about former U.S. vice-president Dick Cheney, leads with the most nominations at six, including one for lead actor Christian Bale. The Assassination of Gianni Versace led the television nominees, earning four nominations.

The Favourite earned five nominations, including Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical, Best Actress (Olivia Colman), Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture (Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz) and Best Screenplay.

Netflix's original film ROMA earned three nominations including Best Foreign Language film, Best Director for Alfonso Cuarón and Best Screenplay. Also vying for Best Motion Picture are fan favorites Black Panther and Crazy Rich Asians.

Amazon Prime Video's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is once again nominated for Best TV Series, Comedy or Musical, competing against Netflix's The Kominsky Method, HBO's Barry, NBC's The Good Place and Showtime's Kidding. The Kominsky Method earned two other nominations, with Michael Douglas up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Comedy or Musical and Alan Arkin for Best Supporting Actor.

Amy Adams earned two Golden Globe nominations: Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for Vice and Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for Sharp Objects. HBO's Sharp Objects earned two other nominations, including Best Television Limited Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Limited Series or TV Movie (Patricia Clarkson).
