In the second trailer for Chappaquiddick, we see Senator Ted Kennedy (Jason Clarke), who is poised to run for the President of the United States in the wake of the death of all three of his older brothers. When he drives off a bridge one night into water and leaves the scene of the accident, he doesn't call the authorities, despite knowing that a young woman, Mary Jo Kopechne (Kate Mara) is trapped inside the submerged car.
