In the first official trailer for Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, Dr. William Moulton Marston (Luke Evans) is asked why he doesn't write Wonder Woman under his own name. She questions him if it's due to the reputation garnered by comic book writers. William, who is married, becomes attracted to one of his students. It's under this phase of his life that Wonder Woman was born. William describes it as a "psychological propaganda for the new type of woman."
