In the official trailer for Baywatch, we're taken to a sunny, sandy beach and greeted by Mitch (Dwayne Johnson), who says, "Welcome to Baywatch. Our team is the elite of the elite. We're the heart and soul of this very beach." Images of lifeguards running and diving into the ocean to rescue swimmers are shown.

As the trailer continues, it becomes clear that Mitch has been instructed to improve the image of the Baywatch crew. To do that, he's asked to employ Matt (Zac Efron), a gold medalist whose accomplishments mean nothing to Mitch. 

The men and the other scantily-clad members of the Baywatch squad are eventually tasked with investigating Victoria (Priyanka Chopra). Crime has risen since she arrived in the area and Baywatch believes she's the root of the issue. Guns, explosions, punches and female lifeguards running in slow motion are featured as the trailer ends.
