In this trailer for the film Menashe, we see a man (Menashe Lustig) going on with his life as a father and grocery store clerk after the death of his wife. Living in a strict Hasidic Jewish community, he is not permitted to raise his only son as a single father without a mother. He tries to find a wife, but cannot wait and leave his son to be raised by others. Going against the beliefs of his Rabbi and fellow faith members, he decides that his son should be nowhere else but with his father.
