In the trailer for John Henry, a police officer goes to John Henry's (Terry Crews) door looking for kids involved in a nearby gang shooting. Little does he know, the kids are under the wooden porch, looking up at what's going on through the slats. However, John Henry knows, and once the cop is gone, he asks the two kids to come inside where it's safe. It turns out that John Henry was once a member of the same gang that's after the youngsters, and he has to decide to what extent he wants to put his own life on the line.
