The trailer for Honey Boy begins with Otis (Lucas Hedges), a young actor on the set of a movie, involved in a dangerous stunt. Then the trailer follows Otis’ chaotic life, which finds him involved in a car accident, then acting out as he's being arrested. The trailer cuts to Otis as a young boy (Noah Jupe) and his alcoholic money-dependent father (Shia LaBeouf). Following Otis from a young age, we see how the toxic relationship between the boy and father carry into his adult life.
