In the second trailer for Ad Astra, astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) is attempting to reach his father, Dr. Clifford McBride (Tommy Lee Jones), who went missing on a space mission several years back. When a crisis of unknown magnitude occurs, Roy's father is believed to be involved. Facing the possibility that his father is not only still alive, but also hiding from the U.S. Space Command, Roy accepts his mission to unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet.
