In the teaser trailer for Child’s Play, we see a manufacturing company advertising a Buddi doll that they refer to as your “new best friend.” Karen (Aubrey Plaza) gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) the new Buddi doll, Chucky. But we soon see that wherever Chucky goes, he leaves behind a trail of bodies, and Andy watches as his mother’s life is also put at risk.
