In the trailer for Submergence, Danielle Flinders (Alicia Vikander) is walking along a windy beach when James More (James McAvoy) runs past. When he turns to look at her, they smile at each other. We see them at a restaurant together, and James asks Danielle, a scientist who's preparing for a deep sea dive, to tell him what's under the sea. They fall in love, but James has to travel to another country on business, where he's captured by terrorists and tortured.
