In the official trailer for Wonder, we see a young boy named Auggie Pullman (Jacob Tremblay) who is about to start his first day of 5th grade. There’s just one problem. It’s the first time he will actually be attending a real school. The boy is nervous as he approaches the school with his mom (Julia Roberts) and dad (Owen Wilson). As the dad begins to comfort his son, he encourages him to walk ahead without him, but not before he takes off his space helmet, stating it’s not cool. From there, we watch as Auggie makes his way through the school with all the attention on him. Auggie suffers from a facial deformity. The kids give Auggie a hard time while his parents offer him comfort. When a young girl named Summer (Millie Davis) sits beside Auggie at lunch, it seems like he has made his first friend at school.

Wonder opens in theatres November 17, 2017.
