In the official trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, we're given a brief history lesson on what "started as a legend." Transformers are featured, blood drips from a cross, and glimpses of epic battles are shown.

As the trailer continues, a chained Optimus Prime announces that he seeks redemption for destroying his home. Worlds collide and tensions come to a head as humans and Transformers fight for control of Earth.

Mark Wahlberg, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel and Laura Haddock take center stage and the charged trailer ends as Prime, who has evidently taken a dark turn, says, "For my world to live, yours must die."
