'We the Animals' Trailer

In the trailer for We the Animals, a woman seems overly attached to her three sons, telling her youngest to promise her he will stay nine forever. We see the boys running wild as children, screaming, riding bikes into water and having fun with their father. When the entire family goes to a swimming hole, the mother asks her youngest why he doesn't swim. We then see the father swimming with the boy hanging onto his back. The man takes a breath and goes under the water, losing the boy, who begins to drown. The mother is furious, telling the father he doesn't even protect his own family. The father leaves, and the brothers are left with no food.
