The official trailer for Murder on the Orient Express opens up with a train making its way through snowy mountains. Inside the train, travelers are sitting together in a passenger car. “There is something about a tangle of strangers, pressed together with nothing in common, but going from one place to another, and then never see each other again,” says detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh). A beautiful woman (Michelle Pfeiffer) approaches Ratchett (Johnny Depp), then the scene cuts to the train moving rapidly, and we hear a loud scream. The train comes to a halt and Poirot informs the other passengers that someone has been murdered.
