Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Official Teaser Trailer

In the official teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Rey (Daisy Ridley) gasps for air and appears to be crawling across a rock formation. The camera travels over a vast body of water and a familiar voice can be heard calmly saying, "Breathe. Just breathe."

The trailer continues and features several images that hint at much more than they reveal. A Vader-like headpiece is shown shattered on the ground, fascinating symbols and old books are seen, there's footage of space battles and the back of a woman (presumably General Leia Organa), and Rey is depicted practicing her lightsaber skills atop a cliff overlooking the ocean.

The trailer ends with the following quote: "I only know one truth: it's time for the Jedi to end."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theatres December 15, 2017.
