In the official trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, we open to whispers of a past relived in which King Pendragon (Eric Bana) raced to save his son from an attack on his castle. The future King Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) awakens in a sweat. Then Excalibur is revealed, ready for the taking, and the only man who can wield it is its rightful owner, and heir to the throne – a throne currently under the power of Arthur’s murderous uncle, Vortigern (Jude Law), who stole it years earlier. And so, Arthur returns to claim what is rightfully his. As he learns about the power he wields and the destiny he owns, a battle for the kingdom ensues.
