Tom (Romain Duris), 28, follows in the footsteps of his father, Robert, a corrupt Parisian businessman. With his accomplices Fabrice and Sami, Tom empties buildings, either by infesting them with rats, or by expelling the immigrant occupants violently so he can then buy them for a lower price.
However, a chance encounter with his late concert pianist mother’s music agent rekindles a desire for a musical career and hope for a better life.
