After chasing a gang boss, police officers David (Bruce Willis) and his partner Cal (Swen Temmel) find themselves in a bad situation that leads to David getting caught and Cal chasing down the remaining gang members.

Following them to a nearby farm, Cal runs into Eric (Chad Michael Murray), a veteran. With more gang members on Cal's tail, Eric is reluctant to run away, and decides to help Cal to save his partner, but also protect the house he shared with his late wife and daughter.
