A film that sees the complicated world issues of race, death and poverty through the eyes of a 10-year-old. As MacDowell says, "I wouldn't call it an art film. It's just a beautiful little movie that's going to have to compete with the blockbusters pretty much through word of mouth." Hope it's got a big mouth.
