Part-Time Cops
Retired police detective René Boirond is suffocating under a mountain of debts and barely stays afloat using little schemes here and there. One of his schemes gets him mixed up with money laundering for the Chinese mafia, when he is caught with a bag containing a million euros. His ex-partner François Debuches immediately thinks he’s guilty, of course.
In a desperate attempt at getting away clean, Boirond tries to pass himself off as dead, using a crooked surgeon. Unfortunately for him, he winds up with the identity of a recently deceased bank robber who was planning a big caper with his accomplices, who now think Boirond is their leader.
Hounded by police, surrounded by criminals to whom he cannot reveal the truth, Boirond has no choice but to beg Desbuches to help him out of his predicament.
