Because she failed to renew her visa, Maya is suddenly deported to her native Morocco. For the ambitious fashion designer who was on the verge of a major promotion, the incident could not have come at a worse time. She has a week to submit an original dress design to her demanding boss, Nicolas, in time for a big fashion show.
Landing in Morocco, the uprooted Parisienne goes back to live with her father, who has still not forgiven her for leaving home, and her younger brother, who plays pranks on her. Failing to obtain a return visa, the young woman makes a desperate attempt to return to France illegally.
