Parched
In a rural community in Gujarat, India, Rani (Tannishtha Chatterjee), her best friend Lajjo (Radhika Apte), and erotic dancer Bijli (Surveen Chawla) live by the male-oriented rules of their society.
Their community's way of life ostracizes women who are educated or opinionated and delivers child brides into the hands of abusive husbands. It's when Rani must find a young bride for her own entitled teenaged son that she and her friends begin to question those rules.
